Our Wine

Baccata Ridge Winery specializes in the production of premium cool climate grape and blueberry wines. Our high quality fruit production is due to the exceptional care and pride we take in our growing methods and the mineral rich soil that we have been fortunate enough to have as our growing location. Our wine is expressive of the unique terroir in which it is grown, and the care we take in ensuring a healthy balance and respect towards the ecosystem that surrounds us is apparent in every sip you enjoy.

Foch

Foch is a cold climate grape, grown in the mineral
rich soil of our vineyard, produces a dry wine, with a dark fruity aroma and slightly peppery palette that has depth and good acidity. It has a well rounded
finish.

Pairings: Pairs well with red meat and lamb.

Blueberry Wine

This unique wine takes 3lbs of blueberries per bottle to make. This wine is fermented to dry with a medium acidity. Blueberry wine contains the
antioxidants of blueberries in a concentrated form.

Meant to enjoy chilled either after dinner, or on a warm afternoon.

Pairings: Pairs
well with spicy Asian food such as Thai or some salty feta. It is perfect for a Thanksgiving dinner.

Blueberry Reserve

The Blueberry Reserve is made from Draper Blueberries grown right on our property. This fruity wine is meant to be enjoyed chilled either after dinner, or on a warm afternoon.

The only difference between this and the Blueberry Wine is this one has 10 grams of Sugar per 100 Litres

Pairings: Goes well with poultry, cheeses or really, just about anything.

Royal Buzz

Step into history with Royal Buzz and enjoy this mead made from 100% B.C. Honey from our hives on the farm. Best served chilled for a nice smooth flavoured after dinner drink.

Drink as a dessert wine or pair with desserts. This has an alcohol content of 14%, but tasted like candy.

Pairings: Serve with sharp cheeses, fruits and nuts. Great over ice cream, or serve as a slushy.

Cherry Buzz

Our Cherry Buzz is the same as our Royal Buzz fermented with a natural cherry concentrate. This
has an alcohol content of 14%.

Pairings: Serve with sharp cheeses, fruits and nuts. Great over ice cream, or serve as a slushy.

Harvest Cherry

Our Harvest Cherry is the same as our Harvest Gold, only with a hint of a natural cherry concentrate. This is in a 500ml bottle. Best served chilled for a smooth after dinner drink.
